Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Accountant with a strong background in bookkeeping and restaurant financial management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting for the restaurant industry, including proficiency with R365 accounting software, inventory management, and accounts payable. This position is integral in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting our operational goals, and ensuring a smooth accounting process across our growing number of locations.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting for the restaurant industry, including proficiency with R365 accounting software, inventory management, and accounts payable. This position is integral in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting our operational goals, and ensuring a smooth accounting process across our growing number of locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Prepare, analyze, and report on profit and loss statements and other financial statements to aid in business decision-making.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and valuation for all locations.
- Process accounts payable and monitor cash flow, working closely with our operations team to maintain efficient cash management.
- Payroll processing
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting to support strategic planning and growth goals.
- Conduct regular financial audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, providing financial insights and support for business initiatives.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a restaurant accountant or bookkeeper is required.
- Proficiency in R365 accounting software is essential, with a strong understanding of its application for restaurant management.
- Demonstrated experience in inventory management, profit and loss analysis, and accounts payable processes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey financial insights effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Compensation: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
